Dear Invited Speakers and Participants,

Thank you for your participation in the conference. The organizers are preparing to make the conference an exciting event. The start date of the conference is only 23 days away and we are ready to welcome you to Mongolia.

Please check with the following list to make the arrangements you have done so as soon as possible.

1. Hotel registration: If you have not registered yet, send email to
    reservation@chinggis-hotel.com with your name, dates of stay, and reference UBC2008-
   Nuclear.

2. Visa: The conference organizers had sent your names and address to the Consular
    Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia. Your names are now with the
    Consular services, therefore, you can apply for visa directly at the Mongolian Embassy or
    Consular office in our country.

3. Abstract book is almost complete. If you have sent your abstract, please email your abstract
    to naranzogt@monamescience.org or to Undraa Agvaanluvsan at undraa@stanford.edu

4.Please note that the registration fee needs to be paid at the conference in cash only. The
   registration fee includes banquet and proceedings book. Please see Mrs. Ariunaa upon your
   registration.

5. If you would like to be picked up at the airport upon your arrival, please email Mrs. Ariunaa
   ariunaa@monamescience.org the date, time, and flight number of your flight. We will arrange
   a pick-up service for you and someone can greet you at the airport holding your name.

6. There will be a conference dinner on September 10. Please bring formal or casual evening
    attire to attend the banquet. Ambassadors of your countries residing in Mongolia may attend,
    and if possible, we would like to arrange the seating so that each of you seats with your
    Ambassadors. The theme of the conference dinner is "ENERGY AND THE BRIGHT
    FUTURE".

7. There will be a trip to the Terelj National Park. The trip bus leaves on September 11 at noon,
    right after the concluding session in the morning. The trip is two parts, for those of you to
    come back to UB in the evening and for those of you staying overnight at the camp-resort
    and come back the next day, 12th afternoon. The cost of the trip is 150 dollars per person for
    overnight trip and 75 dollars per person for half-day. Please let Mrs Ariunaa know before the
    conference whether you would like to go on the trip.

8. Last but not least, please don't forget to prepare your manuscript for publication. The
    proceedings articles will be published in the book by the American Institute of Physics. The
    guideline for manuscript preparation is posted on the website:
